A – A Well Deserved Break – Thanksgiving break is coming up and will being giving all the hard-working students and staff their well-deserved break. Some love it because they are able to sleep in, pig out, see family, and watch football. Others are looking forward to it for the much needed break from the stress of school. Either way, students are thankful for the break.
A – Band to NYC – Recently, the band traveled to New York City for the 94th Annual Veteran’s Day Parade and honored the brave veterans of the United States. Along the way, the band stopped in Pennsylvania at the Flight 93 Memorial to perform. Also, they performed at the Vietnam Memorial in New York City with three other bands in a Band of Pride ensemble.
C – The Start of Winter – Though we know some people enjoy the cooler weather, the start of winter is stressful for many and brings illnesses. Students are forced to make the infamous walk from the parking lot into the school, trudging through mounds of snow and risking slipping on the dreaded ice.
F – Student Overload – Students feel as if there has been an overload of tests and quizzes in preparation for the approaching finals week. Teachers seem to be piling on homework assignments, essays, study guides, and projects one on top of another, which are all so conveniently due the same week, causing students to become over worked and lose much-needed sleep.
